Ostwin Moreau FINANCIAL EDUCATION
A quiet teahouse setting — the backdrop for unhurried financial conversations

Money understood through thoughtful conversation

At Ostwin Moreau, financial education happens in a considered, unhurried setting — much like a gathering around a low table. We explore everyday finances, investment topics, and lifetime planning through structured dialogue rather than lectures.

Learning that stays with you

Financial understanding doesn't come from one-sided presentations. It comes from honest, open exchange — the kind we've been fostering in Kuala Lumpur for over a decade.

Dialogue-Centred Learning

Participants engage with topics rather than absorb them passively. Questions are welcomed. Uncertainty is treated as a normal part of financial life, not something to be embarrassed about.

Practitioner-Reviewed Content

All investment and planning content is reviewed by licensed Malaysian financial practitioners before use. Accuracy and responsible framing are taken seriously, particularly in more complex programmes.

Malaysian Context, Not Imported Templates

Our programmes are built around local institutions — EPF, KWSP, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara — rather than adapted from foreign material. The setting is Kuala Lumpur; the content reflects that.

Small Groups, Genuine Exchange

We keep session sizes small so each participant has room to contribute, ask follow-up questions, and connect with others at a similar stage. The format reflects a gathering, not a seminar hall.

Materials You'll Actually Use Again

Conversation guides, reflection journals, and curated reading collections are included — not as thick binders to sit on a shelf, but as compact, practical references designed to be returned to.

In-Person or Remote, Same Depth

Programmes are available both at our Ampang Hilir location and through remote sessions. Format does not reduce depth — remote participants receive the same materials and facilitator attention.

Which conversation do you need right now?

Whether you're sorting out day-to-day spending, trying to make sense of investment options, or thinking further ahead about retirement and family wealth — there's a programme shaped around that stage. Reach out and we'll help you find your starting point.

Questions worth asking before you begin

Do I need prior financial knowledge to attend?
No. The introductory programme — Conversations on Daily Finances — is designed specifically for people who are approaching these topics without a formal background. Even the intermediate and advanced programmes assume no specialist knowledge; they simply go further into topics that some participants will already find familiar.
Are these programmes delivered online or in person?
Both options are available. In-person sessions are held at our Ampang Hilir premises in Kuala Lumpur. Remote participants join via video call and receive all printed or digital materials by post or download. The discussion format works equally well in either setting.
Will I receive investment recommendations or financial advice?
No. Ostwin Moreau is an educational provider, not a financial advisory firm. Programmes describe and explore financial topics from an informational perspective. Participants are encouraged to consult with a licensed financial planner before making decisions. Our content is reviewed by licensed practitioners to ensure accuracy and responsible framing.
How long does each programme run?
The introductory programme runs across 4 sessions over roughly 3 weeks. The investing dialogues span 6 sessions over 5–6 weeks. The lifetime planning programme is the most extended, with 8 sessions over 8–10 weeks, plus optional facilitated follow-up conversations. Schedules are agreed with each cohort at enrolment.
How many participants are in each session?
We limit cohorts to between 6 and 12 participants. This is a deliberate choice — discussions are more meaningful when everyone has the chance to speak and respond. Larger groups tend to turn conversations into presentations, which is not our approach.
What if I need to miss a session?
Participants who miss a session receive a written summary and the corresponding materials. For remote participants, recordings of discussion segments (without identifiable voices) may be available upon request. We ask that participants attend at least 75% of sessions to ensure a complete experience.
Is the programme fee inclusive of all materials?
Yes. The listed price includes all session materials — conversation guides, reflection journals, and reading collections where applicable. There are no additional material fees. In-person participants also receive light refreshments during sessions.
